I agree. Accuracy down to a fine grade isn't really necessary for off-road. It goes through all those bumps and jumps, eventually it will change measurements by just a minute fraction. Not to mention the slop and wear due to high impact abue. Also take in consideration that off-road is more forgiving with a higher learning curve compared to 1/8 scale on-road which is so technical and critical in measurements. I would defenitely use the set-up system for it. But I wouldn't lose sleep not using it for my truggy and buggy. |

Personally I would love to see something like that for my buggy! I use calipers right now and its kind of a pain. I mean you could actually use that one that is in the link there, but it only measures a ran of 2.6mm, certainly not enough for offroad. I'm really anal about the setup of my buggy/truggy, I use the setup system on my cars every time. After all why make the car inconsistent left to right? The more precise the setup is the more consistent the handling should be. |
