I used 1 shim in the directions to close the gap and it worked fine. I dont think it may be needed but 1 shim added means a tighter gear mesh with still no binding so I added it. 2 shims caused it to bind and no shims could have been a bit tighter so the 1 shim worked perfect for me. I just put them in the bulkheads with out screwing it all down and before I added all the oil or screws to the diff cups and test fitted them first. It worked great and my mesh seems to be good so far. |
