As the name implies Im a Jammin Fan but Im about to jump ship and grab the new XT8...while I add this new truggy in my cart at www.amainhobbies.com Im courious to know if theres anything else I really need to hook this truggy up... I have on the bench waiting: HiTec HS5945MG T&B HiTec HS5955TG Steering CEO Modded Novarossi PX5 w/ Novarossi 9886 pipe & long manifold. All I think I need is some paint and Im ready to go. Any thoughts....all suggestions welcome. Thank You |

hi, i made the jump too. you're gonna really like the change. the truck is quicker and more nimble around the turns. not to mention the quality is outstanding! Enjoy! also, there's plenty of support which is cool! |

thanks for the unput guys...and thnx whitey...I have that same code in my email box. I've bought tons o stuff from em....So you guys think the kit alone is enuff...I know some kits you want to add a couple extras to it.....you guys finding anything that may need to be thrown in the pit box or is this trug the bulletproff like the CRT?? TY Guys. |

You might also wanna get the aluminum suspension holder for the front and back. The kit comes with plastics with eclip holder, which is okay, but if you want more options for your kick up and rear toe settings, then you must get the aluminum set. Remember to get the pins and eccentric bushing for the aluminum set or else it wont work. |

I would like to jump on this also but going through that spreadsheet to figure out what parts I need is going to lead to a mistake in the order. I thought I was onto something when sneh mentioned the set, but then it says those are old parts. Is there a set for the new parts? |

There is not /one/ complete set to complete the truck, it is better if you order the individual parts. I will make the list shortly... |

For the complete TQ (updated suspension pieces) here are the part numbers: 352311 – TQ Front Front Suspension Holder 352320 - Rear Front Suspension Holder 352332 – TQ Front Upper Pin Holder 353312 – TQ Front Rear (Anti-Squat) Holder 353323 – TQ Rear Rear (Toe) Holder Along with these pieces you will need eccentric pin inserts and hinge pins, unless you want to grind the stock ones down... 352315 - Eccentric Pin Inserts 357212 - Front/Rear Lower Inner Hinge Pins |

Get a pack of pre-load clips as well, a pack of the 4mm shims for the arms, and a pack of eccentric bushings for spares in case you lose the kit parts. The one piece engine mount is a really good idea for the truggy since it will really reduce the amount of flex in the centre of the chassis, and there is quite a bit of flex there stock, bad for the gear mesh, but it makes the truck so nice to drive. |
