I know this modle is a little old but it was in great condition and i really haev no desired to race in anything but at my local track. But my question is what are some spare part i should keep handy when racing? I was thinking extra front/rear arms and a wing mount, but what else tends to brake in racing? Thanks and glade to have joined the fourm! |

Welcome to the forum and XRay! This car is very stout, so not one 'thing' consistently breaks on the car... I would grab some of these: 352110 - Front arms 353110 - Right rear arm 353120 - Left rear arm 352210 - Right C-hub 352220 - Left C-hub 352255 - Right Aluminum steering knuckle 352265 - Left Aluminum steering knuckle 353350 - Right rear hub 353360 - Left rear hub 357210 - F/R lower, inner hinge pin 357330 - Rear outter hinge pin 359100 - Hardware package 352620 - Front upper turnbuckles Clutch stuff (358561 - Shoes, 358584 - Springs) It seems like a lot but, I'd grab one of each and this will pretty much cover the car. |

If I had only one choice on that list it would be the front upper turnbuckles. As well as some front upper arms as well to go with em. Usually if the turnbuckle snaps, it breaks off inside the arm. So you'd have to replace the arm and the t-buckle. Otherwise the buggy is bulletproof! The only way to break something is to try and break something on purpose. I've yet to break anything on my buggy whilst racing. Heck my outdrives still look awesome after over 10 gallons!!!! Oh and BTW, as a couple of "must have" options (IMHO) get yerself the part #35 8712 Aluminum Adjustable Engine Mount Novarossi, Sirio, R&B or the part#35 8713 Aluminum Adjustable Engine Mount Picco, Mega, Orion, LRP. Depending of course on what engine you're running. Also part#35 5038 Front Diff Large Bevel Gear 38-Tooth. Really helps the buggy coming out of corners. Otherwise the TQ needs nothing. It's already got everything. Have fun with your TQ and if ya need any set up help we're always here! regards speed metal |
