Anyboby running the werks 21 pro or the 28 , I was thinking of trying the 28 werks . How much more torque would I expect from the 28 over the 21. I already have a Nova 528 but I would like a smoother powerband with a little less bottom end power but with more top . |

The 21 B7 pro is an amazingly fast engine. It has tons of power in a truggy, and is just crazy in a buggy. The carb on it is also really nice. The B3 is a great motor as well, the only problem though is that the carb is total garbage, and I don't think it would pull a XT8 around very well, but it is a really nice buggy motor. |

We used a .28 Werks in a Jamming Truggy and got 7 plus minutes but it was a tight track. Use a .21 B7 in a Losi truggy at a little bigger track (more sweepers) was getting 8 plus minutes with a 6mm restrictor. I am not easy on the gas! As far as the B3 goes havent personally used it. My favorite is the B7 all around. Very fast and smooth. |

Paul, the .28 has more torque but some people have had durablity issues and the B7 Pro I have over 7 gallons on it with no issues at all. |

Hopefully ur answer....I spoke with the rep at Werks today and asked him the same question. He said there is nothing wrong with running the .28 but there .21B7Pro does more rpm almost the same amount of power. Plus if you combine the 2013 Werks pipe combo with the 6.5mm restrictor you will get about 45-60 sec more runtime then the .28. Also you get the added benefit of lower operating temps. |
