Suggest to XRAY which XB8 / XT8 Option Parts you wish?

For the 2012 XT8 it would be nice to see a cab forward body and interchangeable parts from the 808 like the old EC days made it much more easier for racing....

NEED A 2012 XT8 !!!!
In our club there was 4 to 5 XT8s now I am the only one.
Please otherwise there will be 0 :cry:

For the 808 '11 fix the servo holders by adding a small bevel to the faces that sit on the chassis so the holder sits flush on the chassis instead of sitting up on the side bend section, then rework the hole screw hole to make it round befor you anodise the chassis, not deformed as in the kit.

Servos: How about some more options like JR HV, Hi Tec etc....... and do something about the clearance on side skirts for the throttle servo.

AND an alloy centre diff holder would be a good move too. The XT8 would fit, BUT it's a few millimeters higher for the 48T.

Shock spring colors...or (less color) ie...gray, white, silver with a small sticker or something instead of purple-pink etc...

some paint schemes would look much better with bland shock springs instead of a color ...not a biggie, just my .02

A couple of things :

- I would like some drive cup sleeves for the XB808 2011 specs.

The image below is from the Ghea Racing web site.

- For the throttle servo : more clearance on the plastic side guard

Just curious, what benefit is gained from running the drive cup sleeves? Seems like it would defeat the purpose of lightened outdrives.

I think it's to eliminate the pins from coming out? similar to the cvd "condoms" that were so popular for the losi's first gen car

or these have been made from techno rc with pin retainer clips that clip over the pins to stop them from coming out.

i also had problems with pin coming out and besides even if pin doesnt come out it can move and flog out the end quicker.

I'm trying to update my 808e with the '11 Spec diff bulkheads and central drivetrain.
Everything is available from XRAY except the drive shafts therefore I vote for these drive shafts.

+ A design or part that allows one to adjust the diff without using shims. A grub screw or extension collar - anything

+ Aluminum diff covers.

+ Composite/delrin center diff spur gear!

About 808 shocks :
You can change the quality of the silicon o rings (black, hobao blue, orange...) design some bigger 16 mm bore shock, put some aftermaket pistons in them... But IMO the pastic shims in the shocks remain simply too tight.

About 808 in the bumpiest tracks :
End of racing season could be a nightmare with your sweet 808. Tracks are destroyed and the 808 is hard to drive in the rough sections pounded by Japanese buggies (they are so easy in these racing conditions, I am crying).

Receiver battery in the front of the buggy :
Yes, it works pretty well and it could make a "fun to drive" buggy (with an easy to rotate rear end). IMO It helps on the rough sections (or it's just because it's simply more balanced). Everybody can try it in a blitz drilling 2 holes for tie-wraps in the right side-guard near the steering servo.

Font center CVD wears out quickly ?
That what I thought after the 2 galons mark. Of course, it depends of the thickness of the oil in the center diff, if you use a graphite grease on the CVD join...etc. It wears out fast.

Porsche system brakes ! Just something where the brakes don't fade out. Nothing more.

Please Huraj, with the help of your team drivers, design, test and race for us a nice buggy for 2012.

Not a buggy part but how about a 12mm adapter for the Hudy wheel balancer? So we can use it for Short Course wheels.

an optional 2-3 mm thick lexan xray body that will last and not just crack seriously why do ppl make shells so flimsy its stupid we spend 600 on an xray xb9 with all the technology in the world and put a 1mm thick body on it that cracks up like rubbish after 2 race meets? im perplexed.
