Is there a reason why there isnt threaded shocks on either one? Just wondering, scoping what buggy and truggy i want to buy |

One of the reasons is that dirt can clog up the thread pretty fast. Also, light crashes that would leave a normal shock unscathed could damage the thread. |

my previous buggy had the threaded shocks and i definitely prefer non-threaded. It's faster and easier to make adjustments, both sides are always the same, and they don't get dirt stuck in the threads. The only downside is less precision, but that only helps if you are actually taking out a set of calipers every time you adjust your shocks...most people just eyeball them anyway and in that case threaded is actually less precise. |
