I've spent much time with adjusting the low-end needle. The setting is fine. I'm using a JP-3 pipe. I've tried switching from 1.0 to 1.1 clutch springs using the 1.71 clutch shoes...still have a small delay with the 1.1 springs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Greg |

try using the JP-1 pipe or the RB 9863, or Novarossi 9853. Other than that I would go back and redo you needle settings: slightly lean on the bottom end and slightly rich on the high end needle. |

... sorry forgot to mention the RB 2045. If you can try them on with a long smooth flow header I think you'll like the results. |

Thanks for the input...I think I'll try the 2045 and 98mm header. Greg |

always had good luck with the RB 086 and long header on my S7. used 1.1 springs on the clutch. once I got the needles right it would idle all day long and not skip a beat, temps right around 220. little short stroke S7 is a monster out of the hole once it is dialed in. There is a wealth of information on the RB forums, helped me out several times. I still go back there and snoop thru the new and old threads. |

you might wana look at the 2020 +192 or 8 manifold gives way better bottom end and very little difference on the fuel although the 2045 is a stronger pipe and they aint cheap ![]() |
