I like running the OS P3 ultra hot plug as it makes it idle and clean out very quickly. As far as the shims go, I'm running 30% nitro and run an aluminum shim between two copper shims. |

Thanks for your reply ![]() I checked yesterday and there is 3 shims as you mentioned; 2 copper and and 1 silver for a total of 0.6mm. There is really a lot of pinch on this engine and I think I'll complete the break-in with 20% and switch afterward to 30%. Good to know that I don't need to add a shim. For the plug I'm surprised that we could run a super hot with 30%. But if it run's well I will order some. And it get's pretty humid here. I was to order the O'Donnell #77T but will follow your suggestions. Looks like I won't get my starter box for this week-end ![]() |
