Gene Hickerson finishes 5th at Maxy Challenge with the biggest names in 8th scale present. Gene was running a production XB8, he was in 3rd around the 35 minute mark. Congratulations Gene. Chris Crews was there with his first time with his Xray and he was 12th overall qualifier. Gene and Chris were the only factory Xray guys present that I am aware of. |

i know Tebo flamed at least once,he came into the pits with no power. I was pitting for Gene so i didn't really get to watch the race. |

Kortz though was the man to beat, his laptimes were above the rest. He was having motor issues though with his Picco. |

he was just coasting when he was out in the lead but if you look at his lap times after he flamed,,,,he was setting the track on fire!!! |

I have the laptimes, his laps in the first 10 laps were majority 33's and then he slowed down to consistant 34's, once he flamed your right, he got a moving but not as consistant. |

33 second laps???? They must've changed something since the pro series finals... The fast laps by Degani and Tebo were 36's a month ago. |
