Post subject: | Anti-roll bar holders |
Hi. Building my EC I notice that the instructions say to leave a 6mm gap between the two connecting pieces that attach the anti-roll bar to the arms. This causes the roll bar to sit high when the flat position. When looking at the instructions the picture shows the pieces flush together with no visible gap. Do I keep the 6mm gap or tighten them together. My Hyper 8's are together. Thanks. |

you leave 6mm thread out of the first end, and do them up together to have no gap.. |

As sneh stated, the 6mm is supposed to be exposed when you screw the grub screw into one of the eyelets. As the grub screw is only 12mm long that would leave an equal 6mm into each eyelet without a gap. XRay cars are a lot like Apple computers, if something isn't going together well or working out just right, it's usually on the users end! |

OK, thanks guys. The instructions really need to state that the gap is only to get the other side on, not to leave permanently. Now on with the building... |

It takes a little bit of work to get the eyelets turned correctly so they dont bind the ball pivot. but its worth it. The eyelets should come out to be about 180* from each other when they are screwed down with no gap. |
