Post subject: | Emergency screw problem, help!?! |
Hey people, I just got my new screw set today and decided to replace two scres the previous owner of my car has killed the hex holes in, made round, the two screws are the one in the top of the servo saver and the one opposite in my XB8. Tried dremmeling a groove in it for flat head screwdriver but it's far to tight, just messes up the screw if i try to unscrew it. I can't get them out and it's destroying any tools i am putting in to try get them out. Any ideas please let me know. Thanks |

apply some heat to it Neo. a hair dryer or heat gun. I bet the previous owner use a liberal amount of loctite. Try to reslot the screw a bit more and apply heat when turning. Lots of heat. |
