Post subject: | Fuel filter problem |
Hi guys. I have a problem with the composite fuel filter of the new EC. The fuel is not reaching the engine. I had some problems, because the engine was running ok on the begining of the fuel tank, but was going leaning? (sorry for my english, opposite to rich) when I was consuming the fuel (1/2 tank), and then I could see the fuel pipe empty from the filter to the engine entry. I have checked everything, but the only solution was to use a mugen filter. Does anybody know somethin about this?, or I´m the only one.... Thanks |

Could you post a pic of your fuel line setup? Also, make sure the mesh screen is clean in your fuel filter and your pressure line isn't too long. But it is a little 'normal' for your motor to slightly lean out toward the end of a run. (it should run about 10-20 degrees (F) higher than during the run. This maybe risky, but you may be able to take the mesh screen out of your fuel filter as there is already a stone filter in the tank... |

The first thing I checked was the presure line. Normally, I use shorter presure pipe, fuel line like shown in the pictures , but I decided to use like this, because was recommended on the manual. Even, I changed the pipe ( I use 9901 with the JP B5). |
