XRAY - Model racing cars

So if I move the shims on the rear to the shorter wheel base, will it keep the rear end from kicking up as much over bumps and jumps ???

I've always had the front lower arm shim at the rear of the front arm for a longer wheel base.

Last week on a small tight track I moved it to the fornt of the arm effectively shortening the wheel base & found it gave the car more steering in the tight slow 180deg corners which allowed me to carry more speed.

It also made the car react quicker.

that's exactly what I was looking for....

I always run my rear amrs and hubs as far forward as I can get them, as it makes the car react and drive more 'box like' where it will steer very aggressively and when you get back on the throttle it goes where you point it. If you want your car to rotate and be smoother, lenthen the wheelbase. It is for the same reason that most of the onroad guys run their wheelbase near the maximum.
