 Post subject: XB8 EC Manufacturing Defect?

This car is beautiful! However, one of my front out drive adapters is unusable. I just assembled the car and the front left drive shaft cannot be inserted into the slot of the new long outdrive adapter (part # 355061). It looks like either the angle or width was milled improperly.

Anyway, I plan on contacting the dealer but I am concerned because RC America is the only place with this part in stock...

Any thoughts?

This picture shows the outdrive/driveshaft in correct position but unable to be inserted.

RC America corrected the problem and sent me a new outdrive. I have to say that customer service and support at RC America and XRAY are second to none. Thank you!
