Hi All, I have dremeled the lower brake assembly and this has given me the clearance I needed below the servo arm. I now have a problem at the top, as the top brake assembly is to now low and brake push/pull rod is fouling the brake arm loop. I placed a few washers under the top brake assembly, this has helped and did consider raiseing the whole servo on the radio plate. But to be perfectly frank the whole arrangement is a bit mickey mouse and I have gone back to a Futaba servo for the throttle and brake. I think I will wait until XRAY make a TT/ACE compatible servo arm for the kit ... if ever. I would be very interested on Jon Hazelwoods comments and may be a close up picture. They are impress servos. Its just a shame that the kit servo arms have to be used due the extra height built in to them. This combined with the poor clearance of the TT/ACE servos make the whole arrangement a problem. I need to go and buy some more servo plastic now as I have dremelled everything to within a inch of it's life Thanks to everyone |
