From what I understand the Maxbashing track was built as a grass track, following their first race and our unseasonably warm weather, the chances are that the grass is probably disappearing fast and the type of track that it currently is will be changing run by run. As such it is a bit difficult to advise what set up you will need but if I was to turn up to race buggy in May, I would go with the following:- Tyres – Hoboa Angles or Proline Crimefighters Diffs – 5k front, 7k center, 3k rear Shocks – light blue springs, EC shocks, 4 x 14mm holes, 600wt front, 500wt rear, mounted middle hole on wishbones F&R, top 2nd out on front tower and lower 2nd out on rear tower. 0 deg squat (using original XB8 plate) 3 deg rear toe on 1 deg front toe out 2 deg negative front camber 4 deg negative rear camber Max front kick up and caster Soft wishbones all round Ride height – front drive shafts level, rear wishbones level Roll bars – 2.8mm all round All other setting would be the same as our normal set up – see slough national R10 from last year. (if your using TQ shocks go with 3 x 1.4mm and 500wt all round) hope that helps Jon |
