Well I'm buying one used for this purpose and I have a couple questions:

How durable is the buggy, can it easily handle the torque of dual batt's and BL?

Is 225 to low? He offered 275, still awaiting pics so I'll get back to that.

Lastly, has anybody else attempted this before with and Xray? Anything I should watch for, ideas, etc? Thanks.

Those prices seem very fair, and good luck breaking an XRay. Everybody should start to chime in on their durability. If an XRay drops out of a race, is very rarely due to the car, its usually poor maintenance or another manufacturers part!

But still, when you flip a 19 inch car going 45 down a bumpy road, it's pretty hard to just rely on brand if you know what I mean ;).

I have an XB8 I was going to go electric with but thinking I have too many projects. it needs a couple parts, though most won't be needed if it's going to be electric/

I'd let this setup go cheap. I have my TQ for racing and spares. no all the tires aren't included but I can toss in a set or 3. it needs the front metal concentric bushing, steering posts, a couple plastic bushings for the lower inside rear arm hinge pins, mud guards, and most of the brake parts (if using a clutch type system, otherwise not needed) and center dif top cover.

there are 2 chassis there. something like $150 shipped?
