Post subject: | Best Starting Setup... |
I was thinking about starting fresh this year because I feel lost within the xrays array of options. Seems like the manual pushes 7-7-1, supplemental sheet states 5-7-3 (so does local hobbyshop owner), US basic setup sheet shows 2-3-3, and forums are saying 3-3-5. My question is whats the easiest place to start and then adjust from there. Unfortunately i am new to RC and cannot really relate what the car is doing to know what to change but guess i will just have to ask around for help. I live in NY tracks are usually rough and beat up and they do wet it down. I will try to include some pictures of the tracks I raced at last year. Should i start with xrays basic us style setup with the diffs set at 3-3-5? This is the sheet that I am talking about [XRAY XB8-TQ U.S. Style Track Basic Setup Sheet]: All the way at the bottom... http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/produc ... 20XB8%20TQ |

I like to run the us style track setup that comes with the kit to start. I have made very little adjustment from it. Basically the only thing I did is that I am running 3,5,3 on the diff setup. |
