Post subject: | Cause of the Nose dropping??? |
Hi all, My XB8 seems to want to drop the front really bad and nose dive lately? I don't know what has been causing it but does anyone know what to do to cure it. Should i run a stiffer front spring? Shock rebuild? Soften up the suspension. I have been trying different front shock mounting positions from all the way in on the arms and shock tower and so forth. I am going to tear down and do a clean up/rebuild of the shocks and diffs. I was thinking about going with J Wheeler's dirt setup but from reading everyone says 3 3 5 and he runs 10 7 7. Most people say the xray runs better with lighter oils. I have upgraded to the 48tooth spur. Ideas are welcomed and thanks in advance... This is the setup that I was going to change to... xform/index.php?act=view&ID=441&setup=xb8tq |

I also find being too soft of a spring in the rear will cause it to nose when taking a longer jump with speed. you are hard on throttle on approach and the spring compresses and as you let off the throttle on the jump, the back end springs up |
