Who knows where that myth comes from? The haters gotta glom onto something. The TQ is still as good as any buggy out there. Bar none. Mine handles everything that gets thrown at it. It can be set up for any track because it's the most adjustable buggy. A lot of people don't have enough patience with the TQ. More Anti-Squat adjustment, more Front Kickup range, and more Caster adjustment than any other buggy. A fast setup is in there bumpy or not :D

My TQ is very good through the rough stuff. Rutts are no problem. That is what they said just a myth. I have had 2 other manufactures buggies and this is by far the best handling of the 3. Whether the track is rough or not.

i agree to an extent. In my experience the car does lack just a little in the bumps. when driving another car it felt like when it lands sideways they car just goes straight down on all fours with the TQ it seems as though it bounces around a little bit and gets a little more upset than some others i have driven but thats just how i feel about it. i know when the track is good. there is not another car on the track that is as good as an Xray on a grooved track. i cant wait to get my new EC but until then my TQ is more than capable of winning races.

the myth comes from the fact that it is build in europe and people assume that its only made for a europe rally type track.

my primary track is one that gets very rutted and me and the other xray drivers that are there dont have an issue with the rutts. its a matter of setting the car up and driving with what the track allows.

i think that " in my opinion" the myth started because the origional xb8 when it came out was quite hard to get a handle on due to the mass amount of setting available. the few that where arround over here dissapeared quickly because the drivers couldnt set them up.i struggled for a long time with mine because i didnt understand it .by the time the tq came out i had it near enough figured out to a style that suited me ,the tq with its little extras just made it more easy to set up from a base setting .from what iv seen if people cant get it to work they think its crap which really in my humble opinion means they dont spend the time to understand the amount of settings possible.....what i did learn was that it is one of the most durable buggys out there and with an understanding of conditions and settings this buggy can win at all levels.

I think that Xray buggies have so much set up options that it can intimmidate most people. Until you learn what suits you and your track it can be hard, but i believe in the gathering of knowledge. This website has a ton of proven set up sheets at most tracks. So basically I think the hard work has already been done for you. You might have to change a couple of things that suits you but all in all Xray buggies are extremely durable and consistent. I love it when I weekly pass others on the track because I my Xray is soooo consistent that in long mains, I will catch you when you make a mistake. But then again, that's what racing is all about....
