RB S5 for new XB8EC

Has anyone run an RB S5?, if so some comments would be appreciated, just tossing up between the S5 and the WS7III???,
Have heard that the S5 has alot of low down grunt and the WS7III needs to be geared differently to get the best torque???,

Comment anyone...?

I run an s-5 on smaller tracks and seems to run great. It has quite a bit of low end grunt. Mid-range is good, and decent on the top end. I guess that would depend on the pipe you use. I currently run a jp-3 pipe with mine. When I go to larger tracks I just switch to my s-7 or c6-bb depending on how much traction there is. But all in all I mainly run my s-5.

Ok then, the WS7 is only $130 NZD more so for the money i guess its worth getting it,
We have medium traction with about 20 sec lap times and its quite open,
Low end grunt is the key to offroad... not speed.

Yeh I think I will get the WS7 not alot more for a longer lasting and powerful engine

Ran gallons thru a older WS7II. Easy to tune and very good power. Still have that motor in the tool box, all preoiled up and ready for a new model,, :twisted:
