I have a friend who is considering the switch to Xray because he likes the quality of build but is also looking to try something new. I can't tell him the difference because the XB8TQ is the only buggy I've ever driven. How might you explain the differences? Is doesn't have to be a better or worse thing. |

Here's my experience from switching to XRay last fall: After finishing the car as a starting point I tried to make a very similar setup like I've had on my M-Car. The same camber, toe, diffs, shocks, anti-squat etc. The car then behaved very similarly but it had a little more steering (and I hadn't even done the dremel mod yet) so I was very impressed and already a bit faster than with the M and I haven't even refined that setup. |

I had the opportunity to drive the "M" buggy as well and from what i noticed, my XB8 handles the ingress of a turn similarly. It is just as stable on the rough tracks as well. Of course there is less bump steer on the Xray compared to the "M". It also depends on how you set-up your Xray. Tires also play a huge factor. |

i know that i am one of very few that still run the xray in my area. i am not the greatest of drivers but have not had any problem with my buggy at all. i love it and will probably keep the TQ version for now. i am patiently waiting for the release of the truggy to add to my xray family. |
