i was use to running the 3-3-5 and was thinking of trying out 3-5-5 with the new gear. is the standard center diff gear a 46, adam? that is what i am running if it is. haven't bought a spur gear so i am not sure on that aspect of it. |

180, The stock spur is a 46T, yeah. The 48T will give you Losi-like acceleration. You will need to buy the shims that go under the center diff mounts if you decide to go with the larger spur. |

Just wanted to give my opinon... I had bought the 30 crown and 48 spur because of those damn losi 8's. All I did was put the spur on so far and it is awesome!!! Its like someone handed me my xray with a jet pack on it. Thank you Xray for this upgrade and 8's watch out next year. ps - I did re-do my diffs in preperation for the crown 5 - 7 - 5 hopefully that will work out ok. |

i might have to get the 48 tooth spur and then i might try going 3-7-5. i like this light oil up front. |

i found with the 38t that i could go up on the centre diff oil .gave the car more pull round the corner since most of my racing is on grass im running 10 10 3 at the min compared to 10 7 3 before on the same track. have noticed its of no benifit on a fast flowing track just for tight corner tracks ..... |

hey adam, will your new set-up still give the same handling like the 335 combo, cept of course for a few handling characteristic changes? What did you gain from doing the changes? What do I need to get if I go up with the spur and down with the crown up front? |
