Post subject: | ThaXt Question? |
I just have a couple of questions about the mounts for the body. I did not get any screws and I am not sure if i am just suppose to reuse the ones for the shocks or get new ones and mount to shock tower with screw and nut. If I can get some close up pictures of the mounting that would be great its all i have left. I am also at a lost as to where the spacers below go. I was thinking behind the spur gear since it was in that package together. But it all seem to work just fine without them. Please let me know the proper way. |

i would have to say that those would go under the center diff assembly. not exactly sure but that is what they look like. doesn't the kit come with a bigger spur gear? |

I was thinking that too but they come with think black anodized ones that look just like the xray spacer just thicker. I know that because since I did the 48-tooth spur in my xray and I did my diffs 5 7 5 it hauls and has the needed acceleration. The new losi's should not be a problem next season. I have the new 38-tooth overdrive gear but have not put it in yet. I have no complaints the 48 tooth spur has made it feel like a whole new buggy. I don't seem to need the 38 yet. |

I just use the shock mounting screws , they should be 25mm long minimum. as for the spacers pictured , I don`t have a clue mine dosn`t have them, the black ones go under the center diff. |
