What's the proper way? Do you completely remove and soak the diffs in WD-40? Is there an easier way? |

I just set them upside down for a minute, then refill, and if I'm feeling really ambitious, I shoot them out with a little denatured alcohol! |

I use the ROCCO method. Then sometimes I may use a dry rag and wipe them out. Unless I am replacing bearings, o-rings and gaskets then I will completly clean everything with cleaning solvent. |

I just use denatured alcohol, you can buy this very cheap in gallons from home depot, lowes, etc............... Or if you have a hobby shop around you with goofy airplane fly guys running it, you can buy methanol by the gallon for very cheap as well, and you can just use a spray bottle and an air compressor and it goes A LOT farther than a can of motor spray, brake kleen or nitro force. |
