XRAY - Model racing cars

Most people in the US are running 335 especially on loose tracks. If it's a very high traction track, then 553 is good.

With the car geared 13/48, you will see a tremendous increase in acceleration, especially running aluminum shoes. The car may feel a bitch "twitchier" until you get used to it. I've been running 5-6-5 with the car geared 38/12 in the front, 40/12 in the rear with a 13/48 clutchbell/spur combo.

dbarnes, have you ever tried 5-4-4? Give it a shot. Me and Jason B. have really liked it.

Does adding higher diff oil in the rear really calm it down.
I am running 5 7 3 and am thinking about 5 7 4 or 5 7 5?
What are your thoughts running that on the track below?

Does the 38/12 in the front help alot? I am really looking for a
faster acceleration to get the over tight short doubles?

Would a stiffer front spring help get it off the ground?
