Ok guys I've been reading the loose rear thread with interest because I have the opposite problem. I have too much rear traction! I can push my car hard and it just won't break the rear free. My car has been running real well lately but I want to see if I can squeeze another second off my lap times.
I want it to slide a bit in this sharp 180 we have so I can swing the rear end around with the throttle. On the rest of the track the car is just awesome.
I am running the XB8TQ and running 4 degrees of rear toe and the shortest wheelbase. I thought more rear toe and a shorter wheelbase would allow you to slide the car easier. But I noticed someone say in the loose rear thread that more rear toe and a short wheelbase gives more rear traction. Maybe that explains why my rear is so locked in compared to the other cars on the track. Would going to less rear toe and the longer wheelbase help unlock the rear? I just have too much rear traction right now.
