You want MINIMAL end play on the clutchbell. Just enough that it moves. But, it has to rotate freely without it binding. |

What engine are you running? Switch to the regular 3-shoe Xray clutch as it's a no-brainer compared to that V6 you're running. Run Mugen 1.0 springs with the Xray 1.71 Alum. shoes. When you pull full throttle, does the car spit and sputter for a few seconds blowing tons of smoke and then gradually speed up? If so, it's just way too rich. Lean the top end a few hours at a time as suggested and you should see a definite increase in the power of your engine. Just don't go overboard with it and lean it too much. |
