Richmond, when you limit the droop with the droop screws, it doesn't change how far down the car drops to the ground. It actually changes how far the car lifts off the ground in the front or rear. Why would you want to limit how far it lifts off the ground in the rear? The more it lifts off the ground in the rear the more nose down your car would be. That's not something you would want to limit. Limiting the front droop limits how far the car raises off the ground in the front especially under hard acceleration like up a jump. Therefore if you limit the front droop the car will point more nose down in my opinion. |

Well after switching back to the old XB8 hingepins and suspension geometry, the buggy now flies level with less nose-up action. I guess from the feedback I'm not the only one who prefers the jumping performance of the old XB8 but the TQ does have it's advantages. Now it's up to XRAY to work this into their next plans . . . updated chassis perhaps?

I just use some brakes in the air. I don't really see the problem with that. The extra .001sec that having slower wheels when you hit the ground will probably be offset by the better bump handling in the rough sections from not having messed with the droop settings. |
