does it have the holes on the chassis bottom for the 2 pce motor mount? I noticed on my bud's xb8 it didn't have the extra holes, yet my xb8r did. |

Lemme think . . the TQ has the updated longer front outdrives. Steering should have the ballstud with backstops. Of course there's the obvious aluminum radio tray, alum. diff. plate, alum. front and rear chassis braces, and alum. steering top plate. Xray updated their chassis to accomodate the one piece engine mount so some earlier models would not have them but RCAmerica had a contingency program to have them replaced or drilled for you. That's as much that I can tell cosmetically. Hope that helped. |

TQ has the taller rear tower, and all the TQ's came with the new spurs that say "46T" on them. |

Another way from looking at my TQ compared to my friends 8/R model is that on the TQ's chassis were the droop screws sit on the chassis from the front arms, the chassis should be factory milled to accommodate more droop, basically the chassis now goes from a 3mm thickness at the top of the chassis to 1mm at the bottom. ( Hope I've worded this is plain English ) All other parts have been listed in the other posts |

+1 KnightHawk. That's the easiest way to tell if it is a newer chassis, as they were all milled out to tolerate the TQ arms when the TQ came out. |

My TQ didnt have the chassis machined to accomdate more droop on the front, but it was one of the first TQ kits they put out, it didn't have any window masks for the body either. Probably the biggest give away (as in most likely to not have been upgraded from the old XB8) for the TQ would be the new gears, the colour is a bit different, and the spur has 46T on it. |
