XRAY - Model racing cars

XRAY differential oils are considerably thicker than other oils, despite their number.

I would reccomend picking up some Mugen or Kyosho differential oils. These oils are based directly off of CPS rating - unlike XRAY and other oils which may throw you off.

Plus - the majority of guys who talk about setups and post their setup sheets on the website use Mugen oils.

ok.... But my question still remains. What is a good starting point for a high speed high bite track?

Try 5,5,3 without the o-rings using XRAY oils, that would be a good place to start.

hi guys, newbie here with a xb8 and a buggy lol looking for a diff set up for running on short grass, maybe just a bass line diff oil set up would be good. i heard 5k all the way through was good?

if you lighten up the center the car is easier to drive
our lhs track is way loose and i have been running 523
front to back xray oils
the car tracks it self so nice
love it

i also have been running it indoors on the clay track
works there also

Currently running the 3-3-5 setup. Been going over the idea of switching to a 4-5-3 setup.

I'm running 335 Mugen oils. It works very well on a loose or bumpy track. Especially when running high powered engines like the VSPEC. The power comes on nice and smooth and very balanced front to rear. The 3 in the center makes all the difference.

i have been running 4/5/3 ofna oils with great success. if you are on a hooked up track try 7k in the center for more 4 wheel pull.

on my TQ
I ran 5000/3500/2500
and 2.4 rear antirollbar
and I am expiercing severe understeer exit corners

I will try 5000/3500/5000-7000
and 2.8 barr
is that ok?

Guy - Try the 3-3-5 setup or the 5-5-3 that was posted previously.
