Personally, I use the +2mm hubs in the back of the car. It's just another thing to do to make the car more stable and easier to drive. |

Rocco, Do you use any thing wider up front, or just the 2mm in the back. Do you think it affects the steering any. I would tend to think that it should make it a little better in the steering department. |

I can't drive a car that pushes, so to get the most steering I can, I run the front end as narrow as possible. The most basic thing for width is the wider you make the more stable it is, and I just don't want my car to be too wide in the front and make it so stable that it won't steer like I want it to. But in short, making it wide in the front, will make it a little easier to drive, but you will get more steering if you narrow it up, but it will just a little 'edgy'. |

Thanks Rocco. Do you feel that the XB8 is a little more narrow than the other top buggies to begin with? I seems to be shorter as I have compared it to many of them, but I have not really looked at the width as closely. On the track it looks much smaller than the other buggies, but I think alot of it is how close the body hugs the buggy making it seem less beefy even though it is not. |
