Hi! I had/have used three V-Spec engines in row and I have to say the rear bearing is the weakest point on that engine. Based on my experience best way to keep your V-Spec on good shape is change original bearings after 1 gallon to Boca Bearing bearings (Hah Funny expression) They ship bearings very fast (even I live in Finland) and those bearings lasts longer than rest of the engine. My last V-Spec lasts 6 or 7 gallons (with Boca bearing) and now it won't start when it's hot that easy anymore so I think it's done now (RIP). Direct link to Boca Bearing search page -> |
