Hi just brought the TQ and I am V Impressed . Been a Mugen Driver for a very long time and fancied a change . I will be racing the two day meet this weekend in the UK with it at Sandy. The build was second to none and I love the little finishing touches that makes this car vertually mod free. But I have one question. The ALU Steering Block , is it worth the upgrade , I know that a few of the top drivers over here run them , but when looking at them, they wont have the bind of composite so how do you stop the screw coming out via vibration etc? I thought about a washer between the CHub Insert and the block but not sure on the wear with this .... Any advise welcome |

Blue loctite should keep it tight but you might want to check it from time to time. Last buggy I had with aluminum steering blocks the screw would loosen up until I put threadlock on it and that kept it from backing out. |

For next time, pick up the loc-tite that comes in the tube and is more of a paste; does away with the liquid running on you and seems to hold better. |

Never had good luck with the paste for some reason. Always used the LOCTITE liquid stuff. The Permatex threadlocker doesent work as good as the actual LOCTITE stuff. IMO |
