So, how tuff is the X Ray??

I am saying this because while we were building our rc track, we had come up with the idea to build a 50 feet step on - step off double jump. We said that the 1/10 scale were to step on and step off, and the 1/8 to clear the whole 50 feet. We were sitting down and my friend said, "I'm feelin froggy", so before you know it he is trying to clear the monsterous gap. He cleared it with ease and locked up the brakes right before his front left A-arm hit a bulldozer

. Anyways, do you guys have a comparible storie that the XB8 has come out on top in the end??

there was a down hill slop like 30 feet from the jump. a few times and you could land them sweet on the slop. it was so much fun

Both a friend and I crashed it hard enough on the one of the front corners to totally destroy the outer bearing in the steering knuckle. He on the right front and I on the left front. It happened at different times he a week before and I a week later. We both had the long soft arms. He has the Xb8r and I have the last years Xb8. We drove away from the crash but it didn't drive to well until the problem was discovered. I was amazed that nothing else broke. With my k car the steering knuckle would've been toast and I bet the hub carrier and lower arm woul have had it too. I lost count on how many of those I went through with the K car.

This is the only thing I ever break on the XB8. They like to split along the mold line.

This is what happens when you have 10 minutes before your main and no spare upper arm

. Half a bottle of tire glue and some Zip-Kicker, lol. Lasted the race (15 mins) and got me the win.

Luckily, i've never split one before, but when i had the K2 turnbuckles on it, it would destroy the plastic threads in it, and cause the turnbuckle to go crooked, never broke though. I have the upgraded XRAY turnbuckles on now, and i havn't had a problem since.
