You can also try an RB concept S5 if you are looking for an easy to tune but powerful engine. Use it with a JP-1 for short tracks and a JP-2 for long tracks. I added a Nova Pro CNC cooling head to mine and it reallly woke the engine up in terms of temps ( a lot lower ) and tuning ease. I started with an RB WS7II and went to the S5 as the 7 port was too much engine while I was learning. I have since went back to the 7 port but the 5 port is a favorite of mine for tracks that lack a really long straight. Also check out the Hudy setup system for off road cars. It is a very valuable tool for getting your car setup and handling properly. Lastly don't be afraid to experiment. Trying parts (like springs) from other companies is imperative if you want to get the most out of this car. Mugen Grey springs work well and you may want to check out the Jammin red springs from Ofna. |
