reading this is weird. i accually find the 335 to be hooked up at the track i run. i tried 334 once and the rear end seemed to break loose on me. so i went back to the 335 and it was all better. |

anyone try 3-5-4? This is just another awkward combo that I've been thinking about trying. I think it'll just push alot though. |

Everyone thought the 3-3-5 would do that as well. Just give it a try, that's the only way to find out. -Adam |

Try 5-7-1 or 2. Mugen oils. Our track is pretty slippery when dry, the 5 7 1 combination gives us a great advantage when getting out of corners at high speeds. 5 7 2 will do the same, but instead it will give you a bit more traction at the rear and the car won't be able to "drift" as well in the corners. I'm very pleased with the 5 7 1 combination, but remember shock oils and tires count as well.. hope this is useful cheers |

Obviously diff oils are a preference based on many factors, such as: track conditions, driving styles, past experiences, etc. After having driven a XB8 for almost two years, all I can say is the XRAY has THE most efficient drivetrain on the market...period! This is why we can run 3000 in the center and still have a car that is very driveable. Could you imagine 3K in a Jammin or a Kyosho??? So, on the subject of diff oils, a lot of combinations have been tried and it definitely comes down to personal preference. |
