I bought a XB8 TQ I love it. The setup and assembly instructions were great 9 hours of work. I put a pico 27 on with a works clutch XTM pipe and header. Was wondering what else would be a good motor. I love the power of the pico, would a pico 28 already be too much.[/list] |

I unsterstand that you arent racing, you could have your picco .27 for insane stuff, and then buy a 3.5 cc engine for racing, huh?.. I also love the power of the big blocks, but be sure to gear it high though. Its very hard for the transmission if you use 13 T cluthbell with 26+ engine. You wont loose much acceleration since these beasts got plenty torque ![]() ![]() My friend had a Picco .26 tuned from Rbmods in his storm bug. That engine had enough torque to accelerate fast to insane speed with 18 T cluthbell. Unfortuanly since buggies has center diffs, much of the power gets lost in there. So block the center diff and you will have a completely insane buggy. I dont see why this is fun though since you cant race. If you want speed and acceleration get yourself one of the insane onroad cars. 1/8 with 2-3 speed.. 4-5 ccm engine and you are going!! |
