i have been using the 3d plate on the TQ but i am not sure it is the way to go. it gives a lot of toe out on full droop so i am going to fit the stock one and see what happens to the toe. |

Way Mah (A.K.A. Yoda), the pit man for our local hot shot Wayne Mah said the following about the 3D plate: "Big jumps = no 3D plate" The reason was that Wayne felt the buggy felt "wierd" when it landed off big jumps because of all the extra toe out that the front wheels have. This makes sense to me. I would try both out, and see which you prefer. The 3D plate does have a little less bump steer from ride height to full compression, so it would be smoother on a rough track. those were the types of answers i needed to hear..thanks cory...i hear you baldyb i felt the same way but i just wanted to see if someone else had views on this... if anyone else has reasons why or why not let me know thanks..Rick |

one should use the 3D plate when using the original plastic steeringhubs and the "not 3D" with the alu ones else the bumpsteer difference will be bigger but put still 1mm shimms under the plate and steeringhub attachments do have the least of bump steer |
