Your probably going to need those long outdrives. The soft arms that come on the XB8R are the Long version and I have seen driveshafts pop out if the long outdrives are not being used. The play that you are recognizing in the rear is normal. The suspension just has a little bit of play in that area to prevent binding across the entire suspension range. No need for clips - your fine. |

I also have the XB8R, you dont need any long outdrives. I have driven about half a gallon on my xray no driveshafts has ever popped out. Almost no problems with this car! ![]() Things I would like to get on it though. Alu chassis braces (the rear plastic on XB8R sucks, after one run it was bent pretty much. Not broken though), thicker 7075 shocktowers (or titanium towers). My rear tower is a little bent from my last run. |
