Like Richmond said, you can use glue, (I used shoe goo when I had this problem). Or you can do this if you don't like waiting on glue to dry, as I did, take a drill bit that is a lot smaller than the screw hole and drill a little farther into the arm and use a longer screw, it will 'bite' harder when it reaches the portion of the arm that is drilled smaller... |

I am suprised by this as i have never experienced this problem on either the hard or soft arms. ![]() The only thing i can think of is that your ball is seized in your shock end (ouch !!) and so as the arm rises the ball is pressed against the screw and cant turn in the shock end so it is turning the screw. This would explain why it only happens on the left hand side, on the right the screw is being tightened by this action..........just a thought. |
