I've been using the HT Batteries Li-Po battery in my KO Propo Helios since the beginning of the season. Initially I was skeptical as to the benefits of the Li-Po battery, but now am very impressed. The compact battery makes my transmitter super light, and I get about 8-10 hours of use between charges. The charger is very simple, no need to invest $150 in a Li-Po specific charger. You can get some info here: Here's what it looks like, even though it's the Futaba version: In order to plug the charger directly into the charging jack of your transmitter, a diode in the charger jack of the Tx has to be removed by the manufacturer. Otherwise you have to externally charge the battery, meaning you have to remove the battery door and plug it in. |
