I've been breaking it in and so far I just have 24 tanks through it so I don't really know what else to expect from it. So far it's showing alot of torque similar or maybe even better than the P5. Does anyone have experience with this motor? |

I decided to switch from the JP-2 to the Novarossi 9886 with the short header and I am overly pleased with the results. With more than a gallon run through it I can defenitely see the top end speed of the S421BX and a little more bottom end than the P5X. This defenitely is the next gen P5!

I also consider this engine, but I've heard someone said something about the bearings breaking. I dont believe this very much though, as it is a novarossi. |

Seen 4 people have trouble with these locally. Anyone else having problems with either the +21-5 or the Hot Mods version? The ones I've seen give people trouble are the Hot Mods, not much life out of them. |

Just as long as you get it to 200 degrees it should be fine. I found that the RB#6 plug was the best one for it. Since the pinch is sooO tight, it defenitely takes more than a gallon for the Hott Mod to run without problems. It likes to run slightly rich on the bottom and two turn in on the top. I'm running a 9886 pipe. Hope this helps. |
