XRAY - Model racing cars

Who's all going to make it to this one? Hope to see my new TEAM mates there ! 13 hour drive for me and a couple buddies from south LA. Hopefully we'll get better weather at this one. If anyone has any more info or track pics, post it up.

Lol, you're a jackass. Apparently us LA boys can't keep wheel nuts on?? Buddy of mine running UMT was running 5th in the A and lost one, lol. Maybe you TX guys can show us the proper technique?

Hey, Jason I might be moving to Houston very soon. What's the track situation around there for 8th scales and what days/times are the races?

Track setup in H-Town is unreal . I'd drive to TX every weekend if I had the gas money for it. TX racing is awesome.

I was at round 1 an I have to say that the XRAY camp was out in big numbers!! They where the coolest people I talked to. I forgot the one guys name , he was a big fella running the new NINGA motor his XB8 an he was cool as hell. Ralph also was cool.

I'm finishing my build on my XB8 TQ kit an I plan on making Round 3. I wish all of the races for the South where in LA or TX. Good luck at Round 2 Adam.

Nitroracer, The 1/8 racing is the scene here in Houston. There are a number of tracks here to race on. K&M races every Sat. night averaging about 75 entries a night. Mikes Hobbies has a unreal facility for on-road but is currently working on there off-road track as we speak. Also I am heading out to the Woodlands this weekend to check out a new track that is about to open.... going out there to drive the track and give some advise for any changes. Plus you got M&M hobbies and Area 51 down south that is awesome, Oh yea and there is Fastrac to throw in there in the mix. So there is plenty and all race nitro.

Thanks for the info. Isn't K&M the indoor track? I raced at Area 51 about a year and a half ago and it was way cool. The big launch jump was unreal.

Where is Round 2 anyway?

Adam, congratulations on the sponsorship! If anyone deserves a sponsorship it should defenitely be you. On almost all the forum topics you have always given great tips and advice. Good luck!

On a side note, it would be nice if NJ had lots of off road tracks to run on like how you guys have it down south.
