Hello folks, I am searching for a good set up for my new XB8R. The track is about 1,5 meters wide. Has about 4 medium jumps and some tight corners. At the moment my car has the stock set up and feels very nervous. Hope anyone has some tips for me cause I am a rookie with this car. Thanx Harald |

What do you mean by 'nervous'? Twitchy steering? Loose rear end? There are obviously ALOT of adjustments and things you can do to tune your buggy for your driving style. Let us know what you are running for shock oil and diff. oil as well. |

Are all the diff oils the same or are there any differences between the producers. At the moment I am driving stock oils 7000/7000/1000. What will be better if I change ? Yesterday I changed the plates in my shocks from 1.5 in the front to 1.4 And I adjusted the spoiler and the the spacers in the front shocks from 6mm to 3mm. I am going on our track today and see what will happen. |

Change to Mugen 3-3-5 (Front - Center - Rear) for your diff oils. Xray diff oils are not close to actual CPS values, and an Xray 7000 wt. oil is actually 10,000 wt. oil. -Adam |

Yesterday I did some modification on the front shocks, the car height and the spoiler. Now my back seems to be much more stable and also the straight forward run is much better and not so nervous. Hope my diff oil is coming today to be tested tomorrow. I think I am getting addicted of that buggy ![]() I never hat such a great car which is so robust and quick. |

Thats good to hear! Welcome to the family! haha. ![]() Keep experimenting and becoming accustom to what adjustments will do. Feel free to ask if you have any questions on an adjustment - we've tried 'em all ![]() |

Do I have to look for something special when I change the diff oils or should I only let the old Oil run out and put the new one in? Do I have to clean the diff before using the new oils? Many thanks Harald |
