XRAY - Model racing cars

hi any of you guys used or have any knowledge of a airtronics 94358 servo i have been recomended this servo for the brake / throttle but know little of it i have been using futaba 9402 and am fedup of the damn things only lastin a short while any feedback or info would be much appreciated or is their a better servo anybody could recommend thanks in advance

i like the Airtronics 94357

I use Hitec servos, HS-645 for the ST and HS-625 for the TH..

Will look into the Air model.

I race for Airtronics and can tell you the 358 will be a good model to use there but ideally you'd want to have 94359's on both the throttle and the steering. You can find all the specs at www.airtronics.net Hope that helps.

Yep the Airtronics servos are very nice. The 94358/359 have 200oz. tq. @ .10s transit time so they are fast and very strong as well.

If you are willing to spend the money on a higher end servo I would reccomend the hi-speed from Airtronics - the 94357 like imaxx21 mentioned. It has less torque but is a bit faster and works perfectly for throttle/brake applications.

I am just so happy... I had to share my 2 cents. I just bought the Futaba S9451/S9351 for the TH/ST. They are 120oz. and 192oz. coreless which are matched with the new Futaba 3PK Super radio set. This is the setup I would recommend.

I've been running a 3PK for about 5 months now and already have about 72hrs. on it. My servos are still varying from brand to brand but I will also be settling down and going all Futaba within the next few months.

Nah, it's cool, just make sure your End Points are set correctly. Most strong servos can actually twist the chassis/radio tray if the servo travels too far and binds.
