XRAY - Model racing cars

I've heard alot of things regarding the difference between an engine with a standard button head and the same engine but with a turbo button head? What's the diff. between torque and top end? Which lasts longer? Which do you prefer for off-road racing?

I have a 421B with the turbo plugs. It's my first Turbo. I noticed a difference in more low end. More torque down low to the midrange. Top end was about the same IMO. Honestly, i would stick with a standard head button/plug. I noticed i have to chase the tune with this motor more than any other, and guys at my track say it's probably from the turbo. I wanna put a standard button and see if it runs more consistent.

Also, turbo plugs are more expensive too!!! IMHO, i would go standard.

As mentioned above, for offroad, I would definitely go with a standard plug for offroad. After running both in a Max Power 8 port and both in a Max 5 port, the turbo does have more rip but they are harder to tune for an offroad track because they do like to load up on the bottom end quicker than that of a standard plug.
My standard plug motors have always run better because they are easier to tune and a lot more consistent. The bottom doesn't load up near as much and the power they put out is usable and doesn't blow the tires off as the turbo motors I ran did.
In short, go with the standard, a lot less headache, cheaper/more common plugs more 'usable' power.
