XRAY - Model racing cars

can i use a pullstart engine in the XB8R? I first want to learn driving with a cheaper engine, later i will buy an other engine

i tend to agree with the other guys go for a cheaper engine and starter box those nasty pull starts can fustrate you sometimes .but like i said if you hack the engine mount a pull start engine will fit .i did it for my kid when he started of but i already had the engine from another kit so it was waist not want not

I managed to install the .25 force engine without any adaption. i could only use 2 screws for fixing the motorblock on the mounts and i had the put the mounts in V shape, but it did the job. For the mounts themself i could use the 4 screws.

I'm breaking in the engine this weekend. I'll let you know how it went.

I ran in the engine this weekend and all went very well. so it worked with the .25 pullstart engine whitout eny adaption.
