Having gone through the TQ box yesterday, I personally think its all there. Admittedly there are a few options that some would like to have seen included, but they are exactly that, options. For example, Yannick does not use the 5 point engine mount and rear aluminium hubs and many team drivers (Italian – Monaci, USA - Crews) do not use the aluminium steering knuckles. I’m sure the inclusion every single part would have increased the kit retail price, which is a very critical sales point. With the TQ kit I believe that anyone can build up a XB8 and be within at least 95% of the exact same set up and performance as the top Xray team drivers, without spending any extra money on other parts. That for me seems like good value. Ok so that 5% might cost a few £££, but your new kit is going to handle 50% better than your old car, so you quid’s in. ![]() |

XB8 and XB8R boxes I've seen very clearly tell what they DO include and what they DON'T. It's just how do you read that "all options included" text. Ofcourse its a bit of an advertising trick. But myself I've never thought that it mean it has EVERY single part. In my opinion it's bit ridiculous to come here crying how the box doesn't include everything Xray has produced when "the box says so". Check the sides of the box and look if it stands there what parts it includes and what is yet required. Dont you seriously know what the box really includes or is it just fun to complain? You should seriously find out what you buy beforehand. (and yes, Ajoiner had a point there) |

i think you are all missing the point yes the xb8 is a top car both in build quality and performance this is my third ,but and its a big butt the whole advertising campaign has shown silver springs both on web pages and the finnished box so where are they? , as for the wording on the box all options included? why say things and show things if they dont excist. In the uk and most other places in the world that would be classed as misleading advertising?yes you are probably right i would never use them but when you see and read the box then open and find they are not there its a little disappointing |

For what it's worth, you have a sought after kit in your hands. Anyone would be glad to take it off you ![]() ![]() |
